It may look like a compact point-and-shoot, but it's really a DSLR that uses the Micro FourThirds system, which means high quality photos using a large sensor, but in the body of your typical point and shoot. It also means you can change lenses on that baby.
The one in the picture is a 17mm/f2.8 "pancake" lens.
13 megapixels of AWESOME!
I haven't felt this excited about cameras in a long time!
I mean, I thought I was done buying cameras for a while. I'm super happy with my Canon EOS 40D. Sure sure, my next logical upgrade would be the 5D.
But this is just COOL!
Would it be come my primary shoot camera? Probably not, maybe a secondary camera or something. But it's so tiny and portable.
Still need to reserve judgement until the actual reviews and photo samples show up (here's a few on the 2nd page), but damn. I have camera lust again.
Though, that lust is tempered a bit by the price. $799.99 (with 14-42mm f3.5-5.6 lens), $899.99 (with 17mm f2.8 lens and optical viewfinder). OUCH.
Ok, I pick it up when the price drops... ;-)
